The child care center

The „P’tits Lutins“ child care center accomodates 24 children between the age of 3 months to 5 years. The children are divided into three groups: 

The spaces are specifically adapted so that the child may evolve in complete security (physical and emotional).
It is also a place where the child learns how to deal with community life while constantly respecting his own rhythm. Depending on the activities, the staff organizes quite moments, especially for the younger children. The aim is to preserve the childrens’ wellbeing by respecting…

 

Presentation of the child care center

The center accomodates 24 children aged between 3 months and 5 years and offers different accomodation solutions.

Opening hours

The center is open from Monday to Friday between 7.30 am to 7 pm, except for legal holidays (it is closed for a week between Christmas and New Year’s).

 


The different accomodation solutions and the functioning

Different accomodation solutions are offered:

Regular permanent solution

This solution is suited for children between the age of 3 months and 5 years whose parents or the single parent have a professional or assimilated professional activity. The stay may last 5 days a week at the most and 20 hours per week divided into 5 half days.

Regular temporary solution

This solution is suited for children under 5 years whose stay will be planned and regular (less than 5 half days or 20 hours per week).

Non regular solution

For parents with children from 15 months to 5 years who need accomodation from time to time. 

Please reserve in advance by e-mail, only few vacancies. Rate for half day : CHF 98.00, from 7.30 to 12.30 a.m. or from 2 to 6 p.m.

No contract needed, only a form to fill in.Prepare a bag with napkins, cloths and meals for your child.

 

The staff

The team is interdisciplinary and each member has a specific and active role. The plurality of competences makes the team’s richness and fullness. This is true for the director, the secretary, the maternal assistants and the nursery assistants.

The director of the center is responsable for a part of the administrative management of the structure and is responsable for its best daily functioning: child’s enrollment, schedule planning, ties with the center’s partners. In addition to the director, the supervising and caring for the child is entrusted to an interdisciplinary team. The director leads the team through ist action and reflection at the service of the children’s, parents’ and staff’s wellbeing.

The nursery assistants deal with care, meals, preparation of activities (mothering, hygienic monitoring of the children, risk location). The nursery assistants also deal with the education and contact (with the parents of the interns, with the staff) and create contact with the parents, by supporting them in their parental functions.

The secretary masters the information technology, settles the administrative files, is in charge of the billing, the organization of the child care center and manages the different orders.

The trainees help the assistants and prepare their professional career in child care.
